I love Apollo but I am going to have to put him to sleep as soon as possible. I tried to take something away from him and he growled and barked at me…looked like he wanted to bite me….that’s bad news for him. He’s almost 5 years old and that’s the first time he has ever shown any aggression towards me. as soon as i can….Apollo will be taking a trip to the vet to be put down.

…….it’s going to take me a little time getting this blog running again. I did a backup of the Rottweiler Blog before I re-installed Wordpress, so I will be uploading what I had saved. I could not correct the problem with Wordpress so here I am again re-installing it.

There is a malfunction that I cannot correct. Within the next few days, I will be re-installing Wordpress into this same url address: http://taxicabhouston.com/rottweilerblog/

When I re-install, I may lose everything I have posted so far. I am going to try to save it somehow.

I have been trying endlessly to edit new videos of my rott boys but everytime I work with Windows Movie Maker, it keeps shutting down on me. I will eventually get the videos up on youtube and post it here.

I just posted a page on crate training your new rottweiler puppy and for other puppies. I will be posting more information there later.

If you own Rottweilers like I do, then you are aware of how much they love to eat grass and graze like cattle.

My Rottweilers have my yard in ruin by eating the grass sod, roots and all, along with dirt and mud. In fact, I have seen Zeus take a large mouth full of dirt and mud. I do not see what tastes so good about dirt and mud. (more…)

…..seems like this is a rottie thing…mine have always grazed like cattle…pulling the grass up by the roots and eating the dirt along
with it.
